Here you will familiarize yourself with terminology, dependencies, areas of application and added values so that everyone speaks the same language and misunderstandings can be avoided.

2. Online event | 12.05 | 10 a.m.: Industrial Data Analytics – From Data Screening to Feasibility Testing

Here we show you the difference between business intelligence and data analytics and explain the process you need to go through when developing a data strategy – from data screening to feasibility testing and the right data infrastructure.

3. Experience Day | 20.06: Industrial Data Analytics – Data Science Use Cases

Here we give you an overview of data science use cases – from predictive quality and predictive maintenance to workforce forecasting. Using Data Thinking, we identify the use case that is right for you. Despite the original assumption, the majority of Data Science projects offer only limited added value in everyday business.
The problem: Lack of user orientation and usability. The methods of Data Thinking put the user in the center.
Your Take Away: You can interactively run through your own questions for the initial time and shed light on them together with Westphalia DataLab expert Markus Töpfer. The goal is to find the solution to your individual use case. In addition, you will gain practical insights into successfully implemented use cases and have the opportunity to exchange ideas across industries.
