Schaeffler Case Competition Final

Since autumn 2019, numerous teams consisting of students from RWTH Aachen have dedicated themselves to Schaeffler’s Case Competition task:  “Develop a market entry strategy for a disruptive condition monitoring solution”. The participants were asked to think outside of the box and develop innovative approaches for the successful distribution of disruptive technologies. Competition participants should design concepts for solutions that can be applied primarily to the area of health monitoring. In recent years, the competition has not only repeatedly introduced particularly outstanding concepts, but also plans that have been implemented directly into business practice. Philips, Lufthansa Technik or Siemens, for example, are only three of the previous competition partners that have already benefited from this unique experience. Learn more about the case competition tasks and partners here! If you are also interested in letting challenges in your company be solved by original approaches from young, creative minds, why not be the partner of one of the next competitions?

In March, you can experience for yourself what ingenuity the students have shown with their solutions this year. As part of the 23rd “Dienstleistungsforum”, the three teams that convinced the jury with their idea for Schaeffler will be selected in a prize ceremony.

The winning concepts are officially awarded with the “Service Innovation Award” of the Walter Eversheim Foundation.

The Dienstleistungsforum will be held in 2020 and is focused on the following topic: “Subscription – From service level agreement to subscription model”. The event is dedicated to the current issues surrounding the digital, subscription-based solution business in the capital goods industry.
