Smart services are no longer the only trend topic when it comes to the competitiveness of companies in Industrie 4.0: Once a new digital service has been offered successfully, the relationship between customer and the service-provoding company is almost obsolete – in most cases.

However, digital business models are now available that are designed to establish a long-term relationship between a company and its customers. Subscription business is the term of the hour. Suscription means that a company commits itself to the continuous increase of the customer Benefit. As a result, ut achieves an alignment of the interests of company and customer. In practice, using subscription business means that suppliers and customers are not only connected through the sale of individual machines, products or services. Instead, they also work together in the long term through continuous innovation, production optimization and increasing output.

Although this is a promising approach, it is not yet very widespread. For this reason, a benchmarking with industry partners is planned for 2019/20! The aim is to discuss this topic with experts and to develop target-oriented strategies for dealing with subscription business models. Participation spots are still available!
