Terms and conditions – EICe GmbH
Area of application
The following terms and conditions apply for this website and all ist content. They form the basic contract existing between participants of further education offerings such as seminars, conferences and meetings organised and or held by the EICe GmbH.
Registration/Confirmation of registration
Registrations for further education offers can be submitted via E-mail, letter, fax or phone (reservations only). The registration is only valid once a formal confirmation from EICe GmbH is received. However, EICe GmbH reserves the right to check whether companies with consulting activities and competing institutions are in competition with the partners involved and to refuse participation or to cancel registration. Every legally binding registration is based on these General Terms and Conditions.
The participation fee is due upon receipt of invoice and is to be paid without deductions by bank transfer. The costs of payment transactions are always borne by the participant. If payment is not made, EICe GmbH reserves the right to cancel and pass on the place. If the participant defaults on payment, EICe GmbH is entitled to demand default interest in the amount of 5% p.a. above the basic interest rate (§ 247 para. 1 BGB).
The fee includes the services specified in the advance notice of the event, but does not regularly include, for example, accommodation and travel costs.
Participants have the opportunity to name a replacement participant until the start of the event. No fee is charged for this change. Cancellations must be made in writing by letter, fax or e-mail. If a registration is cancelled later than four weeks before the start of the event, a fee of 50% of the participation fee is due. If the organizer receives a cancellation later than two weeks before the start of the event, the full participation fee must be paid.
Cancellation by the organiser/change of programme
EICe GmbH reserves the right to cancel events. Participants will be informed immediately (by telephone and in writing).
As far as possible, EICe GmbH will offer participants of cancelled events alternative offers to other dates or locations. If the participant agrees, rebooking is free of charge. In the event of non-approval, the participant will receive a full refund of the fees paid. Further claims are excluded. A claim for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs as well as loss of work is excluded.
EICe GmbH reserves the right to make changes in the organisation, the staffing or the course of an event which has no significant influence on the overall character of the event.
Certificate of attendance
Each participant will receive a certificate of participation from EICe GmbH or its event partner upon request.
The conference documents are protected by copyright. Duplication, transmission or other use of the conference documents is only permitted with the express written consent of EICe GmbH.
The events are carefully prepared and conducted by qualified authors and speakers. EICe GmbH assumes no liability for the topicality, correctness and completeness with regard to the conference documents and the implementation of the event.
EICe GmbH is only liable for material damage and financial loss for which it is responsible, irrespective of the legal reason – insofar as it is guilty of intent and/or gross negligence, insofar as there are no mandatory statutory provisions to the contrary.
Storage and use of data
EICe GmbH treats personal data confidentially and will only use them in accordance with data protection regulations. Personal data is stored and used for organisational purposes of EICe GmbH and for future information about offers of EICe GmbH. Every participant has the right to revoke his consent to the storage and use of his data and to object to the future unsolicited sending of information material.
